This meeting will be a joint meeting with the « Cellular Proteolysis" group of the SFBBM (French Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) and the Working Group 1 (WG1) of Proteocure which has registered up to 189 Proteocure participants. The aim of WG1 is to constitute task forces gathering labs working on pathologies or biological processes to share knowledge and findings, models, innovative technical approaches and tools, and to develop therapeutical options in a pluridisciplinary manner. The general topic of the meeting is proteostasis and its multifaceted impact in biological and pathological processes in both animals and plants. Gathering the French Proteolysis community which is also in great part well-implicated in Proteocure and WG1 constitutes a very fruitful opportunity to synergize and disseminate the scientific impact of Proteocure. The central position of Paris is also favorable and may facilitate the travels of colleagues all over Europe Area. The sessions are planned as follow, they recapitulate the main scientific topics of WG1 in line with the French Cellular Proteolysis group of SFBBM: Aging & Neurodegenerative Disorders, Inflammation, Cancer, Autophagy, Omics and drug design, Host-Pathogens interactions.

This workshop is based upon work form COST Action ProteoCure, CA20113, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). COST is a funding agency for research and innovation networks. Our Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and enable scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers. This boosts their research, career and innovation.

The deadline for registration and abstract submission (poster only) has been postponed until May 12, 2023
